How can I become a ParkNow customer?

You can register to become a customer directly with the ParkNow iOs app / Android app or through our website.

What is mobile parking?

Mobile parking is the cashless and ticketless handling of parking actions on-street. Instead of searching for change and a parking meter, you can now simply start and end your parking action at the touch of a button with the ParkNow iOs app / Android app or through a simple phone call or SMS.

What is ParkNow?

ParkNow redefines parking. Our aim is to achieve easy and stress-free parking, without the hassle of finding change to pay for your parking, be it on- or off-street. With the help of our ParkNow app, you can find parking close-by and pay without having to use cash.

Furthermore, you can activate and end your parking action with the touch of a button. No longer will you need to make a detour to find parking-ticket machines in car parks. Your parking history can be viewed within the app or through your personal account online. Parking couldn’t be more convenient.

We are also constantly aiming to improve our service – in the near future, ParkNow will be available directly within your in-car navigation system and will enable you to reserve parking spaces in car parks.

Pricing

How much does ParkNow cost and what are the different packages?

Parking fees vary among the different on-street locations and car parks.

Depending on which ParkNow package you choose, a 0,25 EUR service fee or a monthly base fee of 2,99 EUR additionally applies. You can find a detailed overview of our packages here.

Does ParkNow charge a registration fee?

Registration

During registration I got the error message: ‘Your IBAN is already used’. What should I do?

There is a check during the registration process on the IBAN number. It looks like that your IBAN number is already in use by another customer account. The IBAN number may only be linked to one ParkNow account. Please choose an alternative IBAN. If you encounter further problems during registration or have further questions, please contact our customer service.

On-street parking

How does ParkNow function on-street?

On-street parking with ParkNow is easy and cashless. You can start or end your parking action through the ParkNow iOs app / Android app, via phone call or SMS.

Please note that in various cities you require a parking sticker for on-street parking. This sticker needs to be clearly visible attached behind the windscreen of your car. Download your ParkNow Sticker for free.

How does parking via SMS work?

Parking via SMS is available for all customers with a registered customer account.

For starting or stopping an on-street parking action via SMS, please send the following SMS-code to:

0049 (0)177 178 2213 (within Germany)
0043 (0)676 800 505 467 (within Austria)

SMS-Code start parking:
start [zone] [license plate] – Example SMS text message: “start 336007 MPN3338”

SMS-Code end parking:
stop [license plate] – Example SMS text message: “stop 336007 MPN3338”

 

Please note:

– For SMS parkking two sms notiifications (€ 0.15 per sms) are charged on default. The confirmations start and stop parking action cannot be disabled.

– If you use a license plate that has not been registered yet, the license plate will automatically be added to your account. Depending on the package you are currently using, a service fee is charged.

Off-street parking

How does ParkNow function off-street?

To use our service in car parks, please register directly via the ParkNow iOs app / Android app or our website.

You can find nearby car parks with the ParkNow app. You can also see opening hours, parking fees and further services for each individual car park and choose the most convenient one for your needs. Furthermore, you can navigate directly to the entrance of the car park with the ParkNow app.

The parking action starts when your vehicle enters the car park. The barrier will open automatically through license plate recognition or after using the Car park access card. Find more information here.

How do I authorize the barrier to open automatically in a car park?

Depending on the access systems of each car park, the barrier opens either automatically through license plate recognition or with the help of your car park access card.
Car park access card: Just hold up your ParkNow access card in the car or place your access card directly on the short range reader of the barrier.

The parking action with ParkNow off-street starts automatically when you drive into the car park and ends automatically when you exit the car park with your car.

ParkNow App

Where can I download the ParkNow App?

The ParkNow app is currently available for free for iOS in the Apple AppStore and Android in the Google Play Store. Here you can find instructions for the iOs app download / Android app download.

How can I login to the app?

Having completed the registration process through the website or app, you can login to your personal account with the mobile phone number or e-mail address you provided when you registered. If you have forgotten your password, please select “forgotten password” to reset.

Digital parking disc

How long can I park with the digital parking disc

In many parking zones there is a maximum parking time that must be observed.

If the maximum permitted parking time is exceeded, your ParkNow parking process is automatically terminated. To be notified in time, you can set up your reminders (E-mail, SMS or Push) in your customer account.

Do I have to pay to use ParkNow as a digital parking disc?

The digital parking disc is free of charge for you. Unlike in paid parking zones, there are no service charges.

The registration and the inquiry of the payment information serves only our registration protocol as well as the license plate inquiry by the parking enforcement team.

Promotion code / QR code

Where can I find the discount for my parking process?

You can see your discount under “Invoices and payment details” in your user profile. It will also be shown on your monthly invoice.

Can I redeem several promotion codes at the same time or enter the same code twice?

You can only store one promotion code manually in your user profile, but you can add several QR codes one after the other. It is not possible to store the same promotion code twice.

Personal account

Can I use multiple customer accounts with the same IBAN number?

Yes, it is possible to use multiple accounts with the same IBAN number. If you encounter problems during registration or have further questions, please contact our customer service.

Which information can I see and edit in my personal account?

You can see and edit your personal details in your personal account at any time through the ParkNow iOs app / Android app or the website.

– Update users and vehicles
– Overview parking history
– Order car park access card or parking sticker
– Access monthly invoices
– Edit payment method
– and much more.

As a sub user of a customer account you are able to access your own customer details. All other information (e.g. payment method, monthly invoices etc.) can only be accessed by the main user of the account.

Billing

How do I pay for my parking fees?

Any parking costs and service fees incurred will be billed to your chosen payment method on a monthly basis.

At any time, you can look into your parking history in your personal account in the ParkNow app or the website.

You can also assign notes to each individual parking action. This makes it easier to recognize and comprehend your parking actions at a later stage.

How and when do I receive my invoice?

Your parking costs and service fees will be billed to your chosen payment method on a monthly basis. You receive an invoice notification per e-mail with an overview and link to your electronic invoice. You can download your invoices at any time as pdf documents from your personal account in the app or website.

Business customer receive a VAT-deductible monthly invoice.

Data privacy

What does ParkNow do with my data?

ParkNow primarily uses your information to provide parking services, process payments  , and ensure correct enforcement of parking regulations. For those who have opted to receive them, we also communicate useful news, information and offers via newsletters. To find out more, please see our Privacy Policy.

Who does ParkNow share my data with?

Unless you have opted to receive communications from third parties, ParkNow only shares your information with the partners and suppliers necessary to provide our parking services. This would include municipalities or private car park operators, and secure payment services.

Internally, only ParkNow employees who need to service your parking transactions have access to your information. This mainly concerns members of our administration department, who process payment details, or members of our Customer Care team who help resolve any questions or issues you have when using our products.
